Ball for Alz is a basketball charity event dedicated to raising funds for Alzheimer's patients. Located at Evergreen Valley High School, we will be hosting a tournament with teams who are volunteering to play. We will also have food trucks, performances, & other fun activities! All profit generated from the event goes towards researchers at universities such as the University of Los Angeles who are currently experimenting to find the cure to Alzheimer's.

At EVHS Youth Movement Against Alzheimer's, we are dedicated to spreading awareness about this public crisis to young adults and adults. Alzheimer's is predicted to affect 14 million Americans by 2050. The numbers keep increasing but Alzheimer's still remains without a cure. Our movement is dedicated to making a difference now. Please donate to our cause to help us take our movement to further heights and to donate to Alzheimer's research facilities. The only way we can make a difference is with your support. Public support and encouragement is all that matters.
GAME
The games will be 5 on 5 with subs if requested. It is single elimination, so if a team loses one game then they will be out of the tournament. There be 2 halves in each game, each half consisting of 6 minutes. The period of time between each half will be 4 minutes long.
